Your Dog's Vacation

Drop off/pick up times are from 7:30am to 9pm

Paws Above is a crate-free social environment. We use our 6 different living room styled lounges to group dogs together based on size, energy and or temperament. Our fenced area is just under a half acre, and is fenced with 6ft fencing. Weather depending, we spend almost all day outside. We post pictures daily on our Facebook page. We also do leashed hikes for the more energetic dogs on our 45-60 minute hiking trail. Someone is on-site 24/7.

To have your dog(s) stay with us, we only have 3 requirements. We require that all dogs are spayed/neutered after 6 months of age, up-to-date on vaccinations (supply proof to keep on file) and have their city tags. We only require an assessment prior to booking if your dog has human or dog reactivity. You are always welcome to contact us to set up a meet and greet if you'd like!

Our Fenced Yard Safety Protocol

While we are getting to know your dog(s), we will use a longline (a leash that is 6 ft+) and a martingale collar. The martingale collar is the safest tool to prevent a dog from slipping out of a collar. We have this safety protocol in place so that we can safely retrieve a nervous dog and bring them inside safely.

The nice thing about vacations here is that your dog can pack really light! All you need to bring is dog food, whatever you walk your dog on (harness, halti, leash, etc), and medication if necessary. You are welcome to bring treats too if your dog is in a special diet. If you think your dog may need anything else, feel free to bring it as well. We have dog beds, stainless steel metal bowls, kongs, and blankets for your dog to use. You're welcome to bring these things, but as it is a cage-free concept other dogs may have access and can chew up other dog's beds and blankets. If you aren't sure if you should bring something, just ask us!

Looking to have your dog work on some training while they are here with us? We will spend 30-60 minutes each day with your dog. The nightly rate depends on the issues we will be working on and the time spent daily handling your dog which is why each case is individually quoted. We will start laying the foundations of your dogs training and then also show you how to continue working on it at home. Contact us if you would like to discuss a train + stay to see if it’s the right fit for you and your dog!
